Rhododendron Scarf

Made In The South 2016 winner, Susan Carson has the innate ability to create beautiful and timeless looking pieces inspired by nature. Each detail originates from one of the eighteenth- or nineteenth-century botanical prints she began buying in English, Parisian, and stateside flea markets more than twenty years ago. In her studio, Carson works with her digital designer to “cut” the images and pair them with contrasting backgrounds: latticework, dots, stripes; her experience in interior design informs the mixing of bold patterns. 

The Rhododendron Scarf is designed with Rhododendron flower heads, Etruscan flowers and jewelry, and complementary floral images. Every Carson & Co scarf is inspired and tied to nature, containing birds, butterflies, and frogs and the Olive and Lipstick colorway is exclusive to Garden & Gun's Fieldshop.
